Our analysis of the Twitch.tv Poker category reveals a decline in hours streamed, broadcasters and hours of poker watched on the platform in May 2021. Many of the top streamers are poker affiliates who earn money via partnerships with online poker sites.
Using the Twitch API we mapped out the poker eco-system on Twitch to understand key trends on Twitch poker & to identify the top poker streamers of May 2021.

Poker Average viewers rank: 45th overall on Twitch ( down 8 spots since April). Poker peaked at #12 in September 2016. Meanwhile the Slots category on Twitch ranks 13th on the Twitch category leaderboard (Average viewers rank) – up 4 positions in the last 7 days.

Average channels rank: 112th (down 14 spots since April)
