The World Series of Poker (WSOP) has released its daily event schedule for 2021 as it makes a long-awaited return to Las Vegas following a 29-month hiatus. The event, hosted live at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, will run from September 30th — November 30th, 2021.

In an email sent to all registered customers residing in New York state, the company said that as a result of the newly introduced regulation and restrictions on players within the state, it has made the decision to shut down its New York operations.
Franklin Circuit Judge Thomas Wingate has told the state that it can now collect $100 million in bonds from PokerStars. The bonds were posted through insurance companies following a December ruling by the Kentucky Supreme Court that PokerStars was “an illegal internet gambling criminal syndicate” operating in the state.
