MansionBet Sportsbook closing

Mansion Group has announced that it will close its sports betting brand MansionBet on the 31st March 2022.

In an email sent to affiliates, the company stated:

Following a comprehensive review taking into account the UK regulatory environment, non-propriety platform constraints and market conditions; the company has made a commercial decision to close the MansionBet brand.

The email went on to add:

MansionBet will close for deposit and play after Thursday 31 March – your players can make withdrawals up until Saturday 28 April, and for an extended period afterwards through our Customer Support team.

Any open bets that conclude as winners after the closing date, when bet slips become unavailable on site, will be honoured, and paid out in full until Friday 28 April 2023. Open bets based on an event that occurs after 28 April 2023, will have their stake returned.

The company also explained that it would now focus on its casino brands that are currently operating in the UK while expanding into other regulated markets such as Spain through its MansionCasino brand.

Mansion Group has also announced that it has applied for a license to operate casino.com in the Canadian province of Ontario. Ontario’s iGaming industry is set for launch on April 4th 2022 and is expected to generate revenues of CAD$1 billion in its first year of operation.
