Rush Street Interactive has announced that its PlaySugarHouse New Jersey online sportsbook and casino will rebrand to BetRivers NJ.
The move was announced in an email sent to PlaySugarHouse affiliates. Rush Street Interactive currently operates the brand in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania while its BetRivers brand is available in 11 states — Illinois, New York, Michigan, Indiana, Virginia, Colorado, Iowa, Louisiana, West Virginia and Arizona — and in the Canadian province of Ontario.
Currently, Pennsylvania users can access both PlaySugarHouse and BetRivers platforms as the company looks to transition to its flagship brand. New Jersey users will have a similar transition period as the new BetRivers brand is introduced.
Rush Street Interactive was founded in 2012 and launched PlaySugarHouse in New Jersey in September 2016 and became the first to launch an iGaming site in Pennsylvania. In July of this year, the company launched BetRivers in Mexico.
Rush Street Interactive recently announced second quarter revenues of $144 Million, up by 17% year-on-year.
