In an email sent out to its affiliates, William Hill has announced that it has made the decision to shut down three of its online casinos brands — EuroGrand, William Hill Casino Club, and 21 Nova.
All three online casinos will stop accepting new customers from November 29th and will shut down permanently on January 24th, 2022. Customers of all three casinos will be allowed to play or withdraw their funds up until that date.
According to the email, the company has decided to shutter the three brands in order to focus its efforts on the two core brands of William Hill and Mr Green. The announcement went on to assure affiliates that the core brands will remain in place for the long-term future.
The email sent out to gambling affiliates yesterday, November 24th, reads as follows:
Dear Affiliate,
We’re closing Eurogrand, William Hill Casino Club and 21Nova.
Following a period of review, we’ve made the strategic decision to focus on our William Hill and Mr Green brands. Rest assured, there are no plans to streamline our portfolio further and we remain committed to our core brands.
From 26th November, we’ll remove all marketing material for the brands, and from November 29th we’ll stop accepting new customers. Customers will be able only to play or withdraw their balance until the 24th of January 2022, then Eurogrand, William Hill Casino Club and 21Nova will no longer offer services or products.
We ask for you to remove all Eurogrand, William Hill Casino Club and 21Nova promotions with immediate effect.
Thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, contact your Affiliate Manager – they will be happy to help.
EuroGrand and 21Nova Casino both launched in 2006 with the latter originally owned by Crown Solution Gaming until it joined the William Hill family in 2009. This was the same year that the company launched its William Hill Casino Club.
