bet365 in Kansas

Bet365 has launched its sportsbook in Kansas, expanding its presence to 14 states in the US.

It is the UK sports betting site’s third state rollout this year, following on from debuts in both Tennessee and Illinois in March.

Gambling revenue for Kansas in June suggests that bet365 may have timed its entrance perfectly, especially with the regular NFL season getting underway in just a few weeks.

The state reported combined mobile and retail wagers of $185.2 million for the month, a 32.2% year-over-year increase on the $140 million declared in June 2024.

Online platforms accounted for the lion’s share of total wagers placed, $181.7 million, while retail wagers contributed around $3.4 million.

Kansas City Chiefs step into pre-season action on Sunday, August 10 at Arizona Cardinals.

Bet365’s Expansion In The US

In March, bet365 became a mobile and retail operator in Illinois through a partnership with Walker’s Bluff Casino Resort.

Within a week the sports betting and online casino specialists also launched in Tennessee after gaining a gaming license from the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council.

A recent YouGov survey revealed that bet365 is emerging as the most dominant US online casino among those aged 21-24 and 25-34.

The UK operator made a further statement of intent in June, when it boosted its voice in the US by becoming the only new member to join the Sports Betting Alliance (SBA).

The SBA is a lobby group for leading gambling companies in the US and was formed in 2021 by founder members BetMGM, DraftKings, Fanatics Sportsbook and FanDuel.

Bet365 has become the first sportsbook to join that established group.

All four operate in Kansas with DraftKings and FanDuel being responsible for a combined 77% of online sports wagers made in June.

Early in July, bet365 cemented its presence in the US by completing the purchase of a $135 million office building in Denver.

Partnerships In Women’s Basketball

Bet365 has given a strong commitment to women’s sport in the US with two partnerships in the WNBA announced this summer.

In June a multi-year deal with Chicago Sky was established, making bet365 the official partner of the WNBA franchise.

As part of the collaboration, bet365 branding will have a strong presence among displays at the Sky’s home, Wintrust Arena, and a range of promotional initiatives will appear on TV and across social media.

At the start of July Indiana Fever announced bet365 as its official sportsbook partner for 2025.

Similar to its first WNBA collaboration, the firm’s brand logo will be prominent throughout Indiana’s 2025 season, appearing across Fever Radio Network broadcasts, team social content and the Fever mobile app.

Bet365 is now available in the following 14 US states: New Jersey, Indiana, Louisiana, North Carolina, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Illinois, Tennessee and Kansas.
