Betway has been issued with a license by the German gaming authority allowing the betting brand to offer sports betting services and products across the German market.

Betway has been working to increase brand awareness in Germany ahead of the recent application for a sports betting license. As part of those plans, the start of the 20/21 football season saw the group sponsor three Bundesliga teams — Werder Bremen, Hertha Berlin and Stuttgart.
