Bally’s Corporation has announced that it has agreed a deal that will see the company become the official sports betting partner of the 27-time World Series Champions, the New York Yankees.
Deal also includes DFS, iGaming, and Free-to-Play partnership agreements
The news of the deal follows Bally’s recent launch in New York state as Bally Bet became the ninth and final mobile sports betting provider that is now legally licensed to operate in the Empire State.
According to the terms of the deal, Bally’s will be allowed to use New York Yankees trademarks. Bally Bet has been designated the Yankees’ official sports betting partner while Monkey Knife Fight is the official daily fantasy sports (DFS) partner. The deal will also see Bally Casino named as the team’s iGaming partner while Bally Play and Bally’s Casino Atlantic City become the Yankees’ free-to-play and casino partners.
Speaking of the deal, Adi Dhandhania, Chief Operating Officer of Bally’s Interactive North America said:
“This is a great partnership that will give Bally Bet and our other Bally’s Interactive brands terrific visibility in New York. The Yankees’ history as a franchise and their popularity as a global brand speaks for itself.”
Michael J. Tusiani, New York Yankees Senior Vice President of Partnerships went on to add:
“We are excited to begin this partnership with Bally’s. We hope that their branding in Yankee Stadium along with their in-Stadium customer engagement will greatly strengthen Bally’s overall gaming presence in New York.”
The deal will also allow Bally’s to advertise inside the Yankee Stadium on the outfield wall, field-facing walls on the main level bars, the terrace level ribbon board, and the LED boards in the Great Hall.
Bally’s partnership with the Yankees is the company’s first deal with a New York-based sports franchise. Bally’s also has similar deals in place with the NHL’s Nashville Predators, the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, and a recently agreed partnership with the NFL’s Cleveland Browns.
