Caesars Entertainment, Inc. has announced that it has signed a partnership deal to become the official sports betting partner of the Indy 500 and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS).
Deal includes launch of first ever sports betting lounge at the Racing Capital of the World

The deal will take immediate effect and will see Caesars become a sponsor for the remaining IMS races on the 2022 calendar. This included the IMS Grand Prix which took place on May 14th, the day the partnership was first announced. The IMS Grand Prix was also the official launch date of the Racing Capital of the World’s first ever exclusive betting lounge.

As part of the partnership agreement, Caesars Sportsbook will now have access to all IMS logos and marks along with digital and social media assets. Caesars will also offer exclusive speedway experiences for customers through the Caesars Rewards loyalty program.

Speaking of the partnership, Eric Hession, Co-President of Caesars Digital said@:

“The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy 500 are iconic American sports traditions. Partnering with one of racing’s most iconic venues and ‘The Greatest Spectacle in Racing’ provides our customers with unique experiences through Caesars Rewards. This will be an impactful partnership for us that builds upon our commitment to the state of Indiana alongside the investments into our resorts and the communities they serve.”

Indianapolis Motor Speedway President J. Douglas Boles added:

“We’re extremely excited about this partnership with Caesars and believe their on-site presence – which is a first for our storied facility – will give fans a new opportunity to engage with the on-track action at the Racing Capital of the World. This is another reason to look forward to an epic and historic Month of May at IMS.”

Caesars has a strong presence in the state of Indiana through its casino resorts, Horseshoe Indianapolis, Harrah’s Hoosier Park, and Horseshoe Hammond.

The news of the partnership deal follows the recent announcement of a $39 million investment in the expansion of the casino gaming floor at Harrah’s Hoosier Park. This expansion is the latest in a series of investments in the company’s Indiana properties, the most recent of which saw the completion of a $33.7 million upgrade of the Horseshoe Indianapolis.

Earlier in May, Caesars announced that it had become the official casino and sports betting partner of the Chicago White Sox.
