BetRegal, a Canadian-owned company, has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with the goal of expanding in Canada through the Canadian Football League (CFL).
The CFL has announced a multi-year partnership with BetRegal, making it the CFL’s official online sports gaming partner. BetRegal revealed that Canadian Football Hall of Fame quarterbacks Damon Allen and Matt Dunigan will be working with the brand as ambassador as part of the “BetRegal Legends” group.
BetRegal, a Canadian company that launched in Europe, has seen success and growth in key European betting markets and is now looking to expand into Canada. The company is already global betting partner for Ireland’s Dundalk FC (a team in the Irish Premier League).
Becoming the CFL’s official sport gaming partner is the company’s first major foray into sports partnerships in North America.
The league and BetRegal will both provide updates on additional fan-facing initiatives for the 2021 CFL season. This will include a free-to-play sportsbook experience, CFL squares, and the Race to the 108th Grey Cup, a pick’em style game in which fans will be able to pick winners and predict scores in order to win BetRegal and CFL prizes. Furthermore, BetRegal will engage CFL communities by recognizing and rewarding community MVPs who have gone above and beyond to assist their communities in overcoming the challenges that have arisen since last March.
BetRegal, as a member of the Canadian Gaming Association (CGA), is dedicated to providing safe, responsible gaming for their customers while also protecting them as a responsible operator.
