Games Global has secured a license from the West Virginia Lottery Commission to roll out its online casino content in the state, its fifth licensed US iGaming jurisdiction.

The company said the approval covers titles from its Gold Blitz, Masks of Fire and Thunderstruck franchises, which will reach West Virginia players for the first time. West Virginia follows Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania in licensing the supplier.

Expansion within a North American strategy

Mark MacCombie, Games Global’s chief commercial officer, framed the license as part of a wider build-out: “West Virginia represents our fifth US iGaming state entry, and is another integral moment as we continue to make strides in North America.”

The West Virginia move comes roughly a month after Games Global entered Canada’s newly regulated Alberta province, a step the company has described as confirmation that North America remains a strategic focus. In the license announcement, the company said its West Virginia debut would be supported by what it calls tier-one operator partnerships, though it named no launch partners and gave no go-live date.

The rollout has not started. The company said only that the license will make a collection of its best-performing titles available in the state, without specifying how many games or which ones beyond the three franchises.
