Following the announcement of its approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), online sports betting company Pinnacle Sports will officially launch a legal Canada sportsbook, in Ontario on Wednesday October 26th.
While Pinnacle will first focus its efforts in Ontario on sports betting and eSports content, the company has said that it will launch online casino games at some point in the near future. Further sports betting content will also be provide at a later stage.
Speaking of the Paris Smith, CEO of Pinnacle, said:

Pinnacle joins the Ontario iGaming market at a time when betting activity is on an upward trajectory. Earlier this month, iGaming Ontario released its quarterly data revealing that from July 1st through September 30th, licensed online iGaming platforms accepted CA$6.04 billion (€4.5 billion) in wagers. This was a 48% increase on the previous period.
