Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has released revenue data revealing that the casino awarded a record-breaking $1.2 billion in slot machine jackpots for the year 2021.

According to a report released this week, the integrated resorts paid out over 420,000 individual jackpots throughout the year, roughly one for every minute. The average jackpot win came to almost $3,000 while the largest win paid out during 2021 was $900,000.

November saw the resort pass the $1 billion mark in jackpot prizes as one player walked away with a surprise $100,000 prize to celebrate the landmark achievement.

The record-breaking year follows a sustained period of growth for the Hard Rock casino brand including an extensive expansion of its Florida location in 2019.

And just a few weeks ago, the company announced that it had agreed a $1.075 billion (€956.7 million)deal to purchase The Mirage in Las Vegas. The company plans to establish its presence on the Strip within the next couple of years with another of its iconic guitar-shaped hotels and casinos.

The last year has also seen Hard Rock experimenting with a slots-focused loyalty card that can be used in all Hard Rock facilities. And although the brand has traditionally focused on land-based casino gambling, it has made significant moves into the world of online gaming with the group’s online casino currently licensed to operate in the state of New Jersey and its online sportsbook available in both New Jersey and Iowa.

Jackpot Slots and Progressive Jackpots are a popular attraction for USA casinos both land-based and online.
