Fanatics has hired College National Champion athlete and social media influencer Livvy Dunne to front a series of promotional adverts for its sports betting app.
The sportsbook has produced a series called “Explained by Livvy Dunne” to coincide with the start of the new NFL season, which kicks-off on September 4 when defending Super Bowl LIX champions Philadelphia Eagles host NFC East division rival, the Dallas Cowboys.
The campaign debuted on August 18, running across all major TV networks in the US as well as OLV, OOH, audio and podcasts and social channels.
The “explained by” series will appear again later this year with a male spokesperson promoting Fanatics online casino.

Each of the videos, directed by Grammy-winning filmmaker Calmatic, show Dunne breaking down why potential bettors should turn to Fanatics Sportsbook as their operator of choice.
The sports betting site has chosen three of its specialist features to highlight: Gameday Guarantee, Fair Play™ and FanCash.
With Gameday Guarantee, new customers will get up to $100 in FanCash back if their first football bet loses on a game day.
That promotion is running for every college and pro football game day which is 26 days total from now through October.
Fair Play™ refunds pro football player prop bets or pays out as a win if your player is ruled out due to a first-half injury;

The video for GameDay Guarantee sees Dunne speaking from a clawfoot bathtub, positioned on the 50-yard line of the Rose Bowl Stadium.
The Fair Play™ advert has Dunne eating a turkey leg while sat in the stand and each segment ends with the payoff line, ‘winning hits different here’.
The video series has versions that are 15 and 30 seconds in length.
