Jackpot.com Partners with TelevisaUnivision for Spanish-Speaking Audiences

Jackpot.com, a leading online lottery courier service in the United States, announced Wednesday a new strategic partnership with TelevisaUnivision, the world’s leading Spanish-language media company. The site will become the official lottery courier and provider of lottery results across TelevisaUnivision’s platforms.

Through this joint effort, Jackpot.com will offer fast, easy, and secure online access to official state lottery games across the states to English-speaking citizens while simultaneously delivering accurate lottery results to the millions of TelevisaUnivision’s Hispanic viewers across its broadcast, cable, audio, digital, and social platforms in the U.S.

“This partnership with TelevisaUnivision underscores Jackpot.com’s commitment to expanding access to safe and responsible lottery play,” said Akshay Khanna, CEO and co-founder of Jackpot.com.

“By integrating our lottery courier services and results across TelevisaUnivision’s extensive media platforms, we can connect with millions of Hispanic consumers in a meaningful way, ensuring they have the most convenient and secure options to engage with their favorite lottery games.”

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are an estimated 65.2 million Hispanics in the country. The Hispanic or Latino population is the second-largest racial or ethnic group in the nation.

More importantly, the community is a significant demographic for lottery games. Jackpot.com cited data from MRI-Simmons, showing that over 15 million Hispanic consumers purchase lottery tickets.

Jackpot.com Has Upgraded Its Mega Millions Format

Jackpot.com’s partnership with TelevisaUnivision comes on the heels of the lottery courier’s new Mega Millions format to deliver improved odds, larger starting jackpots, and a built-in multiplier feature on every play for customers. The new system is set to launch this April, with tickets costing $5.

In fact, the final drawing of the current game format ends on April 4. All updates to the game will debut to offer larger winnings within every non-jackpot tier, improved odds of winning, and even faster-growing jackpots. The first drawing to feature the new format is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 11 p.m. ET.

“Mega Millions is one of the most exciting and widely played lottery games in the U.S., and these changes are expected to generate even more enthusiasm among players,” said Khanna.

“Our mission at Jackpot.com is to make the lottery more accessible and convenient while prioritizing responsible gaming. We are ready to support our customers as they experience the new Mega Millions format.”

Jackpot.com is currently available to U.S. residents in seven states — including Arizona, Colorado, Massachusetts, Arkansas, New Jersey, New York, and Ohio.

The first lottery games in the United States were established in 1934 in Puerto Rico.
