Las Vegas Strip

Gaming revenue in Nevada returned a 3.5 per cent year-on-year increase for June as it reached $1.3 billion for the month.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) released the latest figures in its monthly revenue report for June 2025.

The official figures showed increases in gaming revenues from slot machines, a fall in table revenues but a robust period for online sports betting operators.

Slot machines generated $899.4 million of gaming revenue, a 9.2 per cent rise on the corresponding figure for June 2024.

Table game revenue slumped to $432.9 million, a drop of 6.6 per cent, but online sports betting enjoyed a year-on-year increase of 78.4 per cent, generating nearly $29.9 million.

That digital figure related solely to sports betting as real money online casinos are not regulated in Nevada.

Clark County Leading The Way

Las Vegas strip produced revenue of $765.3 million for the month while the Downtown area contributed a further $73.2 million.

That represented year-on-year rises of 0.9 per cent and 10.5 per cent respectively.

The Clark County area posted a monthly revenue of nearly $1.2 billion, a 3.5 per cent increase year-on-year for June.

It showed particularly healthy growth in both Boulder Strip and Laughlin.

Boulder Strip recorded $87.3 million in revenues, a hefty growth of 19.3 per cent year on year, while Laughlin generated $40 million, a growth of 6.6 per cent over last year’s figures for the month.

Other Regional Revenues In Nevada

Washoe County posted $91.4 million for June 2025, an increase of  4.7 per cent year-on-year, with particular success in the Reno area, which accounted for $67.8 million, a comparative increase of 5.6 per cent over June 2024’s return.

Also in Washo County, Sparks reported $13.7 million revenues for June 2025, a 1.8 per cente increase on the same period last year.

Only Elko County reported a drop, with a decrease in gaming revenue from $33 million in June 2024 to $32.9m last month.

Both South Lake Tahoe and Carson Valley increased year-on-year gaming revenue for June by 2.6% and 4.9% respectively, generating $19.8 million and $11.5million last month.

Online Sports Betting On The Rise

Online sports betting operators recorded a win total of nearly $29.9 million for June 2025.

That amounted to a 78.4 per cent increase over the same period from last year.

Wagering on Major League Baseball generated $21.9 million in gaming win for operators, but betting on NFL  led to $1.2m in losses for sportsbook operator.

Although June’s figures demonstrated a return to growth, there is concern that a decline of tourist numbers in Nevada may affect overall performance through the second half of the year.
