Pennsylvania Posts Sports Betting Handle of $509.5 Million for February

Pennsylvania's Gaming Control Board has released February's monthly revenue report showing that the state's 16 operators posted a sports betting handle of $509,547,820 for the month.

Pennsylvania’s Gaming Control Board has released February’s monthly revenue report showing that the state’s 16 operators posted a sports betting handle of $509,547,820 for the month.

PA Online sportsbooks accounted for 92.1% of all sports wagers with a handle of $469,708,926 while retail sportsbooks at land-based casinos posted a handle of just $39,838,894.

Legal sports betting operators reported $16,379,807 in taxable revenue generating $5,569,135 in taxes for the state.

February’s figures mark a drop of 17.2% on January’s sports betting handle of $615,294,827.

FanDuel Sportsbook at Valley Forge Casino was the market leader once again with a combined online and retail sports betting handle of $179,188,145. Meadows Sportsbook and online partner Barstool Sports took second place in the Pennsylvania market with a handle of $113,193,193.
