For the first time since U.S.A poker’s “Black Friday” in 2011 when online poker was effectively banned, Michigan residents can once again play online poker at PokerStars.
The company is already live with legal poker in two other states in the U.S – having launched in New Jersey in 2016 and Pennsylvania in 2019.

After registering for accounts on the new platform, players at PokerStars Michigan will have access to the usual array of cash-games, sit-n-go’s and tournaments. PokerStars also announced a new upcoming tournament series the Michigan Series of Online Poker (MICOOP) – coming soon.

As well launching their poker product, Michiganders can also now play casino games (roulette, slots, blackjack etc) at the Stars Casino. For sportsbetting, PokerStars has also launched the FOX Bet Sportsbook in Michigan, just in time for the Super Bowl.
