The UK Gambling Commission has announced that it has fined AG Communications £237,600 (€274,637) for anti money laundering (AML) failures.
According to a press release issued by the UKGC, AG Communications trading as Aspire Global has also received a formal warning and will now have additional conditions added to its operating license.
Malta-based AG Communications owns 95 domains with 66 currently active in the UK. These include 24spin.com, casinoluck.com, greenplay.com, and kingcasino.com among others.
The UKGC’s investigation found that the operator was unable to provide details that it had carried out the relevant due diligence checks on six third party businesses that it had agreed white-label partnerships with.
As a result, additional requirements have been added to the company’s due diligence responsibilities.
