Greyhound Racing Ireland have reported they’ve signed a deal with SIS to extend coverage of the sport in the country to 2028 – meaning over 500 races will be shown per month for betting operators.

SIS and GRI Deal To Include Live Data Rights From 10 Irish Greyhound Tracks

Sports Information Service (SIS), who deliver live pictures and data into the leading Ireland online sports betting websites and apps, has announced they’ve increased their collaboration with Greyhound Racing Ireland (GRI) by another three years.

This partnership will cement SIS’s Irish greyhound racing offering into betting shops and other online channels until 2028.

Which means this will allow SIS the broadcast rights to over 115 Irish greyhound races per week and up to 500 per month with a live 24/7 betting service.

These races will come across ten Irish greyhound tracks including the Irish Derby and Winter Racing Festival at Shelbourne and Kirby Memorial fixtures at Limerick.

Plus they will also cover top Irish greyhound meetings at the ‘Fair Warrior’ 400, Kingdom Derby and Cambridgeshire Open 750.

SIS/GRI Deal Will Allow Broadcaster To Show Over 500 Irish Greyhounds Races a Month

EMEA Managing Director at SIS, Paul Witten said. “We are delighted to continue building on our strong partnership with GRI, broadcasting over 500 races per month from 10 tracks, with a series of new venues to follow.”

Adding “Greyhound Racing from Ireland has in recent years established itself as a core part of the greyhound coverage for retain and online operators. Both in the UK and international markets, and our coverage showcases the very best the nation has to offer.”

The deal will also allow SIS to continue to churn out over 24,000 greyhound races a year in total across all countries – and also offer a service that includes live streams, data feeds, screen graphics and full betting odds for operators.

GRI CEO Tim Lucy went onto say. “Our partnership with SIS has been instrumental in consistently delivering world-class exposure for Irish greyhound racing and we are extremely pleased to secure extended collaboration for the next three years.”

This GRI deal adds to the SIS recent multi-content strategy that has been running over the last year.

Having already increased their horse racing, esports and numbers games through product upgrades with many partnerships that include leading platform and one the best betting sites in the UK Betfred.
