Amazon Prime Video is partnering with leading US sportsbook FanDuel for real-time betting updates during NBA games.
Basketball fans will be able to track their wagers throughout games thanks to a blockbuster deal struck between the streaming giant and one of America’s biggest gambling operators.
Bettors can link their FanDuel accounts to their Prime Video profiles, Amazon announced earlier this week. Players can’t place bets directly on Prime Video but they can track progress on parlays and check wins and losses.
Features include a separate overlay option called OddsView which updates odds, lines, probabilities, moneylines, spreads and game props – described by Amazon as an ‘immersive’ experience.

It’ll be available for all NBA games on Prime Video. The streaming platform tips off its 11-year agreement with the league on October 24 – valued at around $77 billion – and will feature 67 regular-season games including a new Black Friday doubleheader.
Prime Video will also stream the knockout rounds of the Emirates NBA Cup (including the semifinals and finals) as well as games from Berlin and London in January.
It will exclusively present coverage of every Play-In Tournament game and fans can also look forward to first and second-round playoff games alongside the Conference Finals in six of the next 11 years.
Six-time NBA All-Star Blake Griffin will serve as an analyst for NBA on Prime and has joined FanDuel as an ambassador. The former Rookie of the Year will be featured across FanDuel campaigns, social media and live events.
Jay Marine, head of Prime Video US, said: “As we tip off this long-term relationship with the NBA, we’re excited to launch a best-in-class bet tracking experience with FanDuel, as well as a wide-ranging suite of broadcast innovations to enhance Prime Video’s comprehensive NBA offerings.”
FanDuel recently agreed to pay the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars $5 million over stolen betting funds.
