Bally Bet began accepting wagers in Iowa on Tuesday, making it the company’s second state launch, following a successful launch in Colorado.
Bally’s has been putting a lot of emphasis on its mobile sportsbook, Bally Bet, and industry experts believe the app has the potential to become one of the most popular betting apps in the country as it continues to expand throughout the United States.
Following the launch, Bally Bet announced plans to expand into two more states before the end of the year, according to a press release issued afterward. Considering that Bally’s has already begun to expand its footprint in the middle of the country, this is significant news for the company, which is hoping that its expansion will help attract new players to their sportsbooks.
Bally Bet collaboration with Elite Casino Resorts
Through a partnership with Elite Casino Resorts, Bally Bet gained market access in Iowa. This casino conglomerate owns three of the best gaming properties in the state: Grand Falls, Rhythm City, and Riverside.
Bally Bet Sportsbook is still expanding, and so far, the response has been positive: the app has received rave reviews in Colorado, a highly competitive market. Users can wager on all major sports on Bally Bet, but a few features set the sportsbook apart from many competitors. Bally Bet, for example, offers in-app parlay games as well as social media integration.
Furthermore, the site offers a rewards program that can be redeemed for more than just free bets. This is similar to BetRivers’ iRush Rewards Program. Users can redeem their rewards points for gaming, dining, retail, and a variety of other amenities at any of Bally’s Casinos across the country. The addition of the sportsbook program to Bally Rewards will help the app attract frequent casino property visitors.
Because of the exposure Bally’s receives through a deal with Sinclair Broadcast Group, the company’s expansion to Iowa (where legal sportsbetting is available both in-person and online) is excellent news. For sporting events, Bally’s is the presenting sponsor for Sinclair’s local CBS and Fox affiliates. All Sinclair baseball games feature Bally’s branding, which has helped drive traffic to the casinos and will most likely get them more eyeballs on their sportsbook as well.
