DraftKings has launched state-specific advertising campaigns for its Predictions product in California, Texas, Georgia and Florida within the past 24 hours, pushing the CFTC-regulated event-contract platform into some of the country’s largest markets without broadly available legal sports betting, according to Legal Sports Report.
Of the four states targeted, only Florida permits legal sports wagering, under the Seminole Tribe’s exclusive compact with Hard Rock Bet. California, Texas and Georgia do not have legal sportsbook markets.
DraftKings launched its Predictions platform in 38 states in December. The platform reaches approximately 40% of the U.S. population, according to a report from Intellectia. The state-specific advertisements promote the product as available in each targeted state.

DraftKings’ 2026 revenue guidance of $6.5 billion to $6.9 billion fell short of analysts’ expectations of roughly $7.3 billion, according to the same report. CEO Robins projects that Predictions could generate up to $10 billion in gross revenue over time. The report says potential revenue from Predictions is excluded from the company’s current guidance.
Market-making capabilities
DraftKings has its own market-making division, supported by its data science team and real-time pricing capabilities. According to the report, those capabilities support sportsbook odds and provide liquidity for prediction markets.
