Kalshi has entered exclusive, multi-year partnerships with five Major League Baseball franchises – the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants – while continuing talks with the league on a broader, league-wide agreement.

The deals, announced Tuesday, give the federally regulated prediction market in-stadium advertising, digital and radio promotions, branded spaces and fan activations across the five clubs. Financial terms were not disclosed, and MLB declined to comment on the announcement, according to USA TODAY.

The Dodgers’ agreement includes Kalshi-branded LED signage throughout Dodger Stadium, naming rights to the Gold Glove Bar and fan activations in Centerfield Plaza. The Giants’ deal runs through the end of this season and includes an LED display, radio advertising and an in-park booth for app signups, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Four of the five partner markets – California, home to the Dodgers, Padres and Giants, and Georgia, home to the Braves – have no legal traditional sports betting. Massachusetts, home to the Red Sox, does permit sports betting, but a state court issued a preliminary injunction in January barring Kalshi from offering sports event contracts there without complying with state gaming law. Kalshi remains involved in legal disputes over whether its sports event contracts are regulated solely as federal financial products or are also subject to state gambling laws.

Adam Barrick, Kalshi’s head of sports partnerships, said the company sees the team arrangements as an extension of fans’ existing engagement with their favorite teams on Kalshi.

Baseball Volume and the League-Wide Question

Kalshi said baseball-related contract activity has surged this year, with nearly 13 billion baseball contracts traded in 2026 compared with roughly 355 million over the same period last year, according to Fortune. The outlet also reported that Kalshi is in discussions with MLB about a potential league-wide partnership, citing a person familiar with the company’s plans.

Any such deal would arrive alongside MLB’s existing arrangement with Polymarket, announced in March as an exclusive prediction-market partnership, paired with a memorandum of understanding between the league and the CFTC aimed at information-sharing on integrity concerns tied to baseball event contracts.

The race to lock in team and league relationships is intensifying industry-wide: Polymarket recently partnered with the New York Yankees, Novig signed with the New York Mets in July, and Polymarket separately struck a deal with Major League Soccer in January.
