The latest monthly revenue report from the New Hampshire Lottery reveals that sportsbooks and mobile sports betting apps took in over $77.8 million in wagers during the month of October.
According to the report, the state’s only sports betting provider DraftKings reported a 16.46% increase in overall wagering activity compared to the previous month. However, the latest figures represent a 14.78% decrease on the same month on 2022. Meanwhile, retail sports betting activity increased by 56.5% compared to September but dropped by 48.3% year-on-year.
DraftKings reported revenues of $8.7 million for October, up by 42.6% month-on-month, but down just 3% compared to October 2022. This brings the year-to-date revenue total to $64.1 million. This puts the state on track to beat 2022’s revenue total of $66.7 million and set a new all-time revenue record for a calendar year.
The state collected $3.8 million in taxes during October, the highest figure since January 2023. So far in 2023, taxes from New Hampshire sports betting have totaled $28.4 million. With two months left, the state is set to comfortably beat the yearly tax record of $30.9 million set in 2022.
