The Wyoming Gaming Commission has released its latest monthly revenue report revealing that mobile sports betting operators set an all-time state record as they accepted $21.2 million in wagers.
The latest figures represent an increase of 23.2% year-on-year and a 10.4% jump on the previous month’s record of $19.2 million in wagers. Total payouts for the month came to $18.9 million resulting in gross gaming revenue of $2.2 million and taxable gaming revenue of just over $1.4 million, both of which are state records.
The state collected $141,086 in taxes from sports betting during October, another state record. This brings the total taxes collected since Wyoming sports betting launched to $1.68 million.
DraftKings Leads the Market
DraftKings is the market leader with over $12.4 million in wagers accounting for 58.5% of all wagers placed throughout the month. FanDuel follows with $4.8 million in wagers while BetMGM took in $3.5 million. Caesars accepted just $378,622 in bets during October.
