British Columbia’s only legal sports betting and online casino website PlayNow has been experiencing login and service problems since October 14th.
Owned by British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), PlayNow has issued several updates via Twitter but has given no indication of why the issues have occurred and when players will once again be able to play games and place wagers.
Hello Players, at this time, we do not have any new information to provide you with in regards to the current PlayNow issues. We will continue to update you on our Facebook and Twitter pages when we learn more.
We sincerely apologize and thank you for your ongoing patience

The company has yet to verify if wagers made prior to the issues for games that took place over the weekend are still valid.
Several players of PlayNow’s online casino games have complained of glitches before the weekend while those involved in tournaments noted that some tables stopped play while others continued.
Some tables were frozen while others in same tourney were still running for a significant period. Pls stop the tourney for all when issues like this happen and then use a roll forward if needed. Tourney resuming and no add-on & different tables getting more play didn’t make sense

The most common complaint, however, is that PlayNow failed to place a warning on the website to make players aware of potential login and site issues after the problem had been reported.
PlayNow first launched in 2004 offering online casino and sports betting products and services to players in British Columbia. In 2012, the BCLC partnered with Manitoba Lotteries, a deal that saw PlayNow launch in Manitoba in January 2013.
