Online casino revenue in the United States broke the $900 million barrier in March, setting a new record across seven regulated states in the country.
Pennsylvania Posts Record $291.6 Million Online Casino Revenue In March
Pennsylvania was the most successful location, where real money online casino operators raked in $291.6 million compared to $230.6 million in March 2024.
The $300 million monthly barrier is yet to be broken for a single state, but if this trend continues there’s reason to believe it will happen at some point in the near future.
Industry analysts believe the spike in revenue is in large part due to strategic promotions during the NCAA March Madness tournaments, which drew record traffic to casino mobile apps and attracted a wider audience to other forms of gambling.
Online casinos in Pennsylvania have never been stronger.
Michigan, New Jersey Both Bring In $240+ Million Gross Revenue
Michigan and New Jersey online casinos brought in gross revenue of more than $240 million each. There are 15 commercial and tribal operators authorized to offer iGaming and/or online sports betting in Michigan.
FanDuel, DraftKings Help Connecticut Hit $57.7 Million Mark
There are only two licensed casino operators in the state of Connecticut – FanDuel and DraftKings – who reported combined gross revenues of $57.7 million in March, up over 30% from last year.
Wagering volumes were at an all-time high in the state as both FanDuel and DraftKings took over $800 million in bets.
West Virginia’s March Revenue Increases By 51.9% From 2024
Online casino platforms in West Virginia in March 2025 enjoyed a 51.9% rise in gross revenue from 2024, landing $36.4 million in revenue from $888.8 million in wagers.
BetRivers Records First-Ever Eight-Figure Monthly Revenue In Delaware
There is only one iGaming operator in the state of Delaware – BetRivers – who recorded its first-ever eight-figure monthly revenue with $10.3 million in March.
The total wagers reached $279.9 million, increasing 25% from the previous quarter.
Rhode Island Casino Leader Bally’s Records $5.1 Million Gross Revenue In March
Like Delaware, there is one operator with sole control of the casino market in Rhode Island – and that is Bally’s, who reported $5.1 million in gross revenue for March.
That is Bally’s most successful month in history so far but their monopoly on mobile sports betting in the state isn’t likely to continue for much longer.
