WynnBet has become the sixth sportsbook operator to launch in Virginia after the state’s gaming commission granted parent company Wynn Interactive a sports betting license on March 5th.
Following FanDuel’s initial launch in partnership with the Washington football team, DraftKings, BetMGM, BetRivers, and William Hill launched in the state just in time Super Bowl LV.
The launch means that WynnBet is now available in four states — New Jersey, Colorado, Michigan, and Virginia. The brand has also been conditionally approved for sports betting in Tennessee.
WynnBet has also secured market access for Indiana, Iowa, Massachusetts, Nevada, and Ohio.
The news comes just a few days after the Virginia Lottery announced a sports betting handle of over $58 million for the first 11 days of operation in the state.
