Illinois lawmakers have introduced House Bill 3142 that, if passed, will see the state establish a regulated online casino industry. Should the legislation pass a House vote, existing land-based casinos would be allowed to apply for internet gaming licenses paving the way for online poker and casino games within the state.

Flutter Entertainment PLC (FLTR) has announced new safer gambling measures in Ireland that include an outright ban on the use of credit cards on all customer accounts.   Flutter's Irish brands including SkyBet, Paddy Power, and BetFair will stop accepting credit card payments by mid-April from both online and retail customers.
