While legal sports betting in Ohio may still be some way off, JACK Entertainment has launched its betJack sports betting app for free play in anticipation of the market launch.
Each registered user will receive 100 free tokens per day which they can then use to bet on sports including the NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB

betJACK allows Ohioans to place wagers on all major sports using free tokens. Each registered user will receive 100 free tokens per day which they can then use to bet on sports including the NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB along with international soccer leagues and even eSports tournaments. Any winnings will be paid out in free tokens that can only be used on the betJACK website or app to place further wagers.

The launch of betJACK is the company’s latest step in preparing for legal sports betting which, according to HB 29 which was signed into law in December, must launch before January 1st 2023.

JACK Entertainment has also revealed plans to build two retail sportsbooks at JACK Cleveland Casino and JACK Thistledown Racino in North Randall. Both gambling facilities will have Las Vegas-style sportsbooks that include video walls and lounge areas.

Once sports betting in Ohio launches, betJACK will offer live real-money wagering.

Speaking of the launch, JACK Entertainment President Brian Eby said:

“JACK is thrilled to provide a fun and engaging platform to help Ohio sports fans become familiar with the world of sports betting. Designed with the Ohio sports fan in mind, we are confident that betJACK will not only be a source of great entertainment but serve as an important tool to help Ohioans learn and become comfortable with sports betting.”
